Dallas and Portland Swap First Round Picks -Official-

The Portland Trailblazers and Dallas Mavericks have agreed to a swap of their first round picks. In the deal Portland will send Dallas the #24, #56 and the worst of the second round picks in the 2010 draft to Dallas in exchange for the #22 pick.

The Portland Trail Blazers acquired the 22nd pick in Thursday's NBA draft from the Dallas Mavericks in exchange for the 24th and 56th picks in this year's draft, and worst of their second round picks in 2010, according to a league source.

This move may be to prevent the Kings(#23) from drafting Omri Casspi, who the Kings have all but said they will take at that number if he is still available. The move may also be to grab a player such as Ty Lawson, Dejuan Blair or Eric Maynor. Or it may just be a little big more ammo to use in a trade for a verteran point gaurd.

Either way, it looks like the Portland Trailblazers are on the move.
